Pilar Diaz

Featuring performances by: Las Cafeteras, Gustavo Galindo, Gloria Estrada, Anthony Reyes (Big Daddy)

Melodic, sweet and as tough as nails, listening to Pilar Diaz is like listening to the soundtrack of a quinceañera for a Riot Grrrl. Former lead singer of Los Abandoned, Diaz was the voice of the bilingual youth movement in the United States during the early millennium. Now she has taken her sound to a more personal level, adding her beloved ukulele and a prolific ability to spin out intimate pop songs that rock.

So far so good...

Patio Theatre

Starting Tuesday, February 22nd I will be broadcasting live at 8PM PST / 11 PM EST.  The live comedy hour is about Angelenos vs. Transplants getting in and out of trouble.  I will be using my patio as a stage, so if you want to stay off camera, you can still visit (you shy little rascals).

The link to the webcast is:

On Monday I will post a list of topics to discuss, take feedback and go live on Tuesday.

Eventually, I would like to shoot with a high definition camera, edit multiple angles and record a separate audio track and make it into a sitcom but that would require more time and help.  And since I have limited tools, I am going to plant the seed and get the ball rolling with a webcast and watch it evolve.

If I am to go live on in two weeks, I need to get crackin'

The blog is setup to post progress and feedback.

I have a lot of work ahead of me to make it a good show but I have a great support network and trust everything will swim accordingly.

Life's A Beash has begun!

Cheers,
Claudia
